Choir Mozartine performed in Amsterdam and Rotterdam
Croatian choir Mozartine performed in Amsterdam and Rotterdam on April 13 and 14.
Along with special Lent program – works of G. B. Pergolesi and Mozart, the choir sang the most famous spring classical songs by Debussy and Strauss and well known Croatian melodies.
Except for the broad audience, the concerts were also attended by Croatian Ambassador to the Netherlands, Mrs. Andrea Gustović Ercegovac, and her colleagues.
The Mozartine girls’ choir was founded in 1999. It involves around 50 members, girls from 20 different high schools and faculties in Zagreb. Members of the choir, conducted by Iva Majcenić, have cooperated with the best Croatian orchestras. In addition to their many performances in Croatia, the choir has performed across Europe as well as in the United States.
